Rain, glorious rain.

It has been so warm and dry lately that we have been watering twice a day, especially the thirsty plants like tomatoes and courgettes. Some herbs such as thyme tolerate dry conditions well but it has been fairly extreme here. But today....as forecast....RAIN! And it is wonderful, not so heavy that the water just washes off the top of the soil, nice and constant, washing the leaves and soaking into containers. It is supposed to be back to sunny, warm weather tomorrow which is great, good growing conditions :)
