Environmental Awareness.

There is a lot going on at the moment - both bad and good. The good is coverage and promotion of the importance of environmental issues, the Earthshot Prize for example is a 10 year initiative to reward, fund and promote organizations and individuals around the world committed to solving problems from water purification to coral rehabilitation - the use of celebrity and fame goes a long way to engaging people who may otherwise not be so interested - fingers crossed it continues to grow. Nature programmes on TV are also always there, Autumnwatch is back on (although sadly only for 1 week) and there is an abundance of fascinating things to stream and watch on catch-up services.

The bad is always there, unfortunately conservation efforts are thwarted at seemingly every turn from raptor persecutions and hunting globally, to raw sewage being pumped into the UK sea and rivers - those of us who keep an eye on this kind of behavior are ripping our hair out with each new crisis made by man. We must all do what we can in our own albeit small way, every little helps...it really does!
